So I do think it comes across as a lot more balanced and richer now. I’m not sure why this scent is so polarizing, but it definitely can be too overwhelming for some occasions. It’s just such an amazing green leathery tobacco-ey scent that smells like money to me. I still have about 5 mL left in my 1995 bottle, so I can’t judge the current formulation. This 90’s batch is incredibly powerful, long lasting, and rich. An all time classic, although not one that fits well with many occasions due to it’s strength and complexity.
It has amazing projection and lasts all day. I first smelled this on my friend who wore a Chaps Ralph Lauren brown leather jacket. It is burned in my memory as having a relation to leather, yet the green notes of pine seem to dominate this wonderful scent.
