This car seat is awesome for extended rearfacing! My daughter is almost 3 years old and downs even have to bend her legs (she is somewhere between inches tall) and she does not even have the graco booster seat extender completely extended. The only thing that I do not like about it is when forward facing, you cannot use the strap covers. Fits well in my Toyota Camry and my husbands Chevy Tahoe.

The button is under the seat cover and a little hard to get to. The manual does describe how to do it but to me it was not clear. And another thing I don’t like is that it looks like the seat cover will be hard to remove to wash it. But again the manual shows step by step instructions so it should not be too hard. Now, most parents will fall in the second category.
