KEY PERFORMANCE FACTORS Lightweight efficiency Composite frameset is engineered to offer minimal weight without sacrificing pedaling stiffness and efficiency. Speed and compliance The Variant composite seatpost and Giant WheelSystem with tubeless tires combine for a smooth ride and low rolling resistance. Designed to help young riders feel confident and in control, it’s versatile enough to ride on the road, in the dirt, or in a junior category cyclocross race. Its 24-inch wheels, short-reach handlebars and powerful disc brakes give it a confident ride.

Its innovative technologies include a D-Fuse composite seatpost and Contact SLR D-Fuse composite handlebar. These integrated cockpit components work as a system to add compliance and reduce road shocks and vibrations. The Advanced-grade composite frame is also integrated for disc brakes, with flat-mount giant ROAD BIKES disc brake tabs and 12mm front and rear thru-axles, plus clearance for high-volume tires up to 35mm. The oversized and tapered OverDrive 2 steerer tube boosts cornering precision, while the MegaDrive downtube and PowerCore bottom bracket deliver precise handling and class-leading pedaling efficiency.

With a frameset that’s engineered using ALUXX SLR, our highest-grade aluminum, this superlight and agile 29er delivers speed and efficiency for XC riders and racers. Designed to ride with a 100mm suspension fork, it’s a race-bred climber with quick acceleration. The 29er-specific frame geometry offers an ideal balance of stability and maneuverability on all types of XC terrain.

Made with a gusset-free ALUXX aluminum frame and 24-inch wheels, it has a low saddle height and taller front end so they can rail corners and stick their landings. Disc brakes help them stop on a dime, and this series is available with either a suspension fork or a rigid fork to suit different riding styles and terrain. Quick and responsive – Frame is designed for 24-inch wheels with a low saddle height and taller front end for quick, confident handling. Maximum control – Powerful disc brakes and a plush suspension fork with a lockout option puts maximum control in the rider’s hands. Grippy, high-volume 2.6″ tires are ideal for multi-surface riding on streets, trails, or bike parks. You still get exercise from pedaling, but you get an extra push from the electric bike’s motor. Electric bikes are great for commuters , for people who encounter lots of hills on their rides, and just for plain fun. You’ll get more torsional steering stiffness from Giants because they have tapered head tubes . If any of this sounds confusing to you, visit us at Bike Shop LA to take a test ride.
