Battery power indicators are nice so after u climb a 3 story house to cut a vent u don’t lose power half way through your cuts. bought it one time, it has fallen off countless roofs, dropped off scaffolding etc. The drill is a compact brushless hammer drill, and not one of the seasonal promo models, either.
For that matter, they’re not the best choice for the budget-oriented handymen who might want to consider checking out more wallet-friendly brands. However, this shouldn’t stop you from purchasing a DeWalt combo kit. This brand is considered to be among the most reliable ones on the market, and it’s always a better idea to go for quality right from the start. Messing with the dewalt tools cheap, unreliable toolsets in your first DIY days could very well kill your enthusiasm. Even though DeWalt isn’t the company with the largest offer of power tools on today’s market, it’s one of the best brands when it comes to quality, durability, and efficiency. Along with Bosch, DeWalt is a manufacturer with fewest user complaints, and that’s always a huge positive.
After a bit back and forth, I realized I had sorted through many Dewalt combo kit options and arrived at what looked to be some pretty solid recommendations. These are all kits I’d be able to justify purchasing for my own needs. In our opinion, it would be the DEWALT 20V MAX XR Brushless Combo Kit because all the high-quality tools that you need is in this combo kit. You can control the speed on the oscillating tool, and the brushless motor on the compact drill/driver (6.3”) will give you at least 340 watts out so they’re both pretty powerful.
I think this kit would be a little more personally appealing if one of those compact batteries were upgraded to a higher capacity pack. Others only one tool and a few accessories; some have nine or ten tools. Combo kits are sold as much cheaper than the individual purchase of any tool. This partly helps you purchase dewalt tools the kits even if the tools you use do not involve them. For example, a five-piece package might contain three tools and two that you do not use, and you spent all that money for the tools you’ll never use. While it sounded nice at the time while buying, make sure you need it all when buying a tool kit.
