That sounds a little bit crazy, but that is one reason this car seat is so great. Babies and toddlers come in all different shapes and sizes. Graco recognizes that and has those ranges in there for a reason. You could have a 22-pound baby that is over 45 inches and then where would you be? Versatility is huge and a great reason this car seat is so accommodating to families. Side-impact protection is nice to have, especially for the smaller children since the side curtain airbags in vehicles might not reach down far enough.
Even though our back seat is stained with red softball dirt, I didn’t want to risk damaging the headliner by installing the E2F and extending the headrest to it’s uppermost position. They are extremely easy to secure to the car and the adjustable base is very convenient as the child grows. The is going to be the only car seat you’ll ever need.
