Men’s Casio G
Also calibrating the compass has never been so easy to perform. I’m really happy with my G Shock purchase and look forward to long yrs of use. A little tip to those who have corrosion issues or watch band issues. Never shower with your watch or wash dishes with dish soap. Never wear watch while working around or near chemicals. Shower wash, detergents or other cleaning chemicals will absolutely destroy a watch!
This is a watch you can trust to be at your side no matter what. Black resin band digital watch with black face, red accents on the dial and the side button. Introducing RANGEMAN, the latest addition to the Master of G series of tough and rugged timepieces that are designed and engineered to stand up to the most grueling conditions imaginable. RANGEMAN employs a Shock Resistant Triple Sensor, which makes it capable of keeping altitude, barometric pressure, temperature and direction readings at your fingertips. This water, mud and shock resistant watch with in-built Solar charging system is chargeable with solar power and can also convert other sources into power. Amongst the many functions featured on the watch are alarms, altimeter, barometer, a calendar and a stopwatch function.
This trio tech helps with determining altitude, temperature and weather conditions can be a life-saver for someone. Note that all of them require an initial set-up, but once this is done, it will show specific measurements any time and day.Altimeter – It can be used to replace a GPS, if needed. Digital Compass – The easy-to-use compass measures and displays direction of 1/16 points with a range of 0 to 359 degrees. It features magnetic declination correction and bidirectional calibration. This Rangeman has solar battery charging capacity and marks sunrise and sunset times. It’s pretty much made to be a go-to watch for first responders.
And unlike my phone, the device I used to get all of my meteorological data from, I don’t have to worry about this watch getting wet or dirty or bumped around. This is another feature that I don’t get enough use out of in my every day, posh, comfy lifestyle though baby g shock I’m sure it would be invaluable out in the woods. The problem I have with the Rangeman watch is that I have to take the watch off to get an accurate reading. Combined with a compass, you can use your altimeter to navigate through hilly or mountainous terrain.
This watch is not as fancy as say a Suunto Vertical, which I use quite a lot. But then again, Suunto’s run out of battery after a long hike. This one is solar, so if you keep it in the light, it will run…forever . The Mudman features Twin Sensors compared to the Rangeman’s Triple Sensor.
The basic black coloring of this model further enhances the rough and tough look of the resin material and the MASTER OF G design. Base model is the RANGEMAN GW9400 with a time stamp feature that lets you record the current time in memory with the touch of a button. I really enjoy the look of this watch as I wanted to get the green one but as I read the reviews that you could not see the face due to the black color, I opted for the black watch instead. The anodized red looks sharp and the ease of use is great whether you are changing world time while traveling or getting updated time from the atomic timekeeping.

Its rugged looks, mud-proof design and GPS means it’s targeted at those who spend most of their time outdoors – this isn’t a stylish statement wearable you’d wear to a club. Basically all the functionality expect the atomic clock. But it looses extremly small amounts of time over a long period.
