There are 2 integrated cup holders to keep your child’s drinks, snacks, or toys close by. For those that spend an extended amount of time in the car, like our family, cup holders are a convenience especially as the children grow older. After being involved in a head on accident in 2004 one of my biggest fears is getting into an accident with my children. As a mother I do everything I can to protect my them, but sometimes protecting them is out of my control. The Extend2Fit buckle is similar to the one found on the Britax products. The chest clip n the other hand is convoluted and not as intuitive as the competition. With no exaggeration, it is one of the best car seats I owned. People usually check how many modes the child restraint system offers and the weight limit, but these are not the features that guarantee that the seat will work for years to come. What truly enables the seat to grow with your kid is the adjustability.
All are clearly marked on the side of the seat, along with a wealth of other instructions. Older versions of the seat will only show two positions for forward-facing and three for rear-facing. Considering the fact that most parents turn kids forward-facing far too early between ages 1 and 2, these seats are already a great step forward for many parents. I probably spent more time trying to find the perfect car seat then I did then on an actual car. I used the UAS clamps on either side of the car seat to click them into place and tightened the tether. Once I knew everything was complete it was time for the test…bringing Henrik out to try the car seat for the first time. The one million worries a parent goes through every single day can be overwhelming.
A little one that young should not be able to do that so easily. I’m going to call Graco but im probably stuck with this and can’t afford another seat. Brianna, the Extend2Fit should fit in most major airline seats, though you’ll probably have to lift the armrest to get it to fit. When rear-facing, any convertible seat will install very upright because the pitch between the airplane seats is so tight, so don’t worry about that unless you’re flying with a newborn.
