Graco Extend2fit Vs Extend2fit 65

There are 2 integrated cup holders to keep your child’s drinks, snacks, or toys close by. For those that spend an extended amount of time in the car, like our family, cup holders are a convenience especially as the children grow older. After being involved in a head on accident in 2004 one of my biggest fears is getting into an accident with my children. As a mother I do everything I can to protect my them, but sometimes protecting them is out of my control. In my case, two teenagers were drag racing, one on the wrong side of the road when I was hit head on.

The Extend2Fit buckle is similar to the one found on the Britax products. The chest clip n the other hand is convoluted and not as intuitive as the competition. Installing forward graco travel system facing uses a belt pathway on the back of the seat near the seat bottom. This method is easier with a lap-only belt but can be done with a lap/shoulder belt as well.

With Extend2Fit®, the adjustable extension panel and 50 lb rear-facing weight limit allow the seat to grow with your child in rear-facing mode, providing extended rear-facing use. The seat features the No-Rethread Simply Safe Adjust™ Harness System, which allows you to adjust the height of the headrest and harness in one motion, and InRight™ LATCH for a one-second LATCH attachment. Harnessing is made easier with fuss-free harness storage pockets that conveniently hold the harness out of the way while you get baby in and out of the car seat. This car seat is Graco® ProtectPlus Engineered™ to help protect in frontal, side, rear, and rollover crashes.

And of course, it’s truly meant to grow with your little one, as there are multiple recline positions, a 14 position quick-adjust harness straps system, and a two-position buckle. In recent years, extended rear-facing has become a popular topic, and I plan to rear-face baby boy until at least 2 years old. My older two children quickly outgrew the rear facing mode in their convertible car seat and were turned around shortly after they turned 1. Now there are all in one car seats on the market with higher weight and height capacities including the new Graco 4Ever Extend2Fit 4-in-1 Car Seat that Graco recently provided for baby boy to try out. The graco jogging stroller is a higher-end Graco with impressive top crash test results. This seat is relatively lightweight and easy to use, with dual cup holders, side harness retainers, and a cool footrest that provides additional legroom when rear-facing.

Extend2Fit® features a 4-position extension panel that provides 5” of extra legroom allowing your child to safely ride rear-facing longer. The seat can be used rear-facing from 4-50 lb and forward-facing from lb. With the ClickTight installation system, you simply buckle the seat belt across the seat and click the seat shut and it’s ready for strapping your baby or toddler in it for a car ride. It also has an integrated steel frame and impact-absorbing base to help keep your child safe during a crash.

With no exaggeration, it is one of the best car seats I owned. People usually check how many modes the child restraint system offers and the weight limit, but these are not the features that guarantee that the seat will work for years to come. What truly enables the seat to grow with your kid is the adjustability.

All are clearly marked on the side of the seat, along with a wealth of other instructions. Older versions of the seat will only show two positions for forward-facing and three for rear-facing. Considering the fact that most parents turn kids forward-facing far too early between ages 1 and 2, these seats are already a great step forward for many parents. However, there are parents interested in rear-facing as long as absolutely possible, and those are parents I typically steer toward seats like the Fllo, Foonf, Rainier, and Pacifica.

It easily slides with a push of a button from the bottom of the seat area and can be extended in increments up to 5 inches in length. This car seat is a convertible car seat which means it can go from infant to toddler to child. this seat can potentially be used for up to 10 years so it could possibly be the only car seat you will ever need making money sense. The seat allows for rear facing up to 50 pounds and forward facing pounds with it’s solid construction including a steel reinforced frame. Several great features are built into the seat such as a level indicator which clearly shows if the seat is properly level when it’s installed.

With Simply Safe Adjust harness system, you can make sure that your child is properly fit as they grow. I probably spent more time trying to find the perfect car seat then I did then on an actual car. I used the UAS clamps on either side of the car seat to click them into place and tightened the tether. Once I knew everything was complete it was time for the test…bringing Henrik out to try the car seat for the first time. The one million worries a parent goes through every single day can be overwhelming.

A little one that young should not be able to do that so easily. I’m going to call Graco but im probably stuck with this and can’t afford another seat. Brianna, the Extend2Fit should fit in most major airline seats, though you’ll probably have to lift the armrest to get it to fit. When rear-facing, any convertible seat will install very upright because the pitch between the airplane seats is so tight, so don’t worry about that unless you’re flying with a newborn.
