Graco 4 In 1

Remember when we talked about that peace of mind and all that worrying you are going to be doing? Yeah- just do both, if you can, and you will feel even better about putting your little one in their car seat for their first adventure. Using your vehicle’s seat belt to install your car seat has been a very common practice. It is safe even if the LATCH system boasts a safer fit. With the Extend2Fit it is both easier and more challenging to install with a seat belt than other vehicles. If you have used another car seat and have had to move the harness straps up, you do have to rethread the harness straps.

That is if you have a vehicle with side curtain airbags. If you do not have a newer vehicle with side curtain airbags, a car seat with side-impact protection is a must. For forward-facing, it allows your child to be harnessed for a very very long time (my average-sized 7 years old is about 50 lbs for reference). Staying in a harnessed seat for an extended amount of time is much safer than in a booster seat. The Graco Extend2Fit is a 2 in 1, which means it’s suitable for rear-facing mode for infants from 4-50 lbs (Extended rear-facing!!), and forward-facing for toddlers weighing between lbs.

I also like that is not as wide as other convertible car seats. Some parents have even boasted safely using this car seat until age 4! They can accomplish this by making the car seat headrest, tilt, and legroom adjustable. These handy dandy car seats of today leave that memory in the distant past. Both the and the Graco Milestone have a “no re-thread” harness. When your child has grown out of the current position of the headrest, simply move it up with one hand.

One position was too reclined, one was too upright, and one was reserved for forward-facing. Thank you Heather for your detailed review and guidance. We have been using a 4Ever since birth, and with a second family car we now purchased this Extend2Fit. My toddler became carsick and we had to take off the padding for cleaning. However, with the the Extend2Fit, I was very disappointed to discover that the padding cane off into only two, not three sections.

Even though our back seat is stained with red softball dirt, I didn’t want to risk damaging the headliner by installing the E2F and extending the headrest to it’s uppermost position. They are extremely easy to secure to the car and the adjustable base is very convenient as the child grows. The graco booster seat is going to be the only car seat you’ll ever need.

Graco Extend2Fit comes with 6 position recline while Graco Contender 65 comes with only 2 position recline. With more recline positions, you have more options to make the child comfortable. It’s important to know the specs and features of Graco 4ever Extend2Fit and Graco Extend2Fit before We can talk more about their differences. The specs and features of those two convertible car seats can be found on the table of similarities & differences below.

To allow for additional leg room the pull out extender provides 5″ additional leg room and has 4 different positions. This Graco has a no-rethread harness assembly to change shoulder heights. It has 10 settings and the crotch strap has 2 for a more specialized fit. It is easy to operate with a lever squeeze and it moves smoothly up and down. The harness can be retained on each side so you don’t need to search for the harness under the baby. It’s a nice feature but like other similar designs, we think most parents will stop using it after a few months.

You can’t find InRight Latch system in Graco Contender 65. According to the company, graco booster seat is suitable for infants between 4 – 50 lbs in the rear-facing position, and for toddlers between 22 – 65 lbs in the forward-facing position. The frame is definitely very rugged and durable, so it should have no problem holding your child, even if your child has a large physicality. Graco Extend2Fit comes with the InRight LATCH installation system.

Graco makes great products and we buy their products whenever we can. This seat has a bit higher bottom limit than Graco and the same upper limit . But in opposition to Graco’s ten height positions, Britax offers fourteen adjustable positions.

In the rear-facing mode, Graco Extend2Fit can be used longer in its rear-facing mode with additional extension panel. With the additional extension panel, the children can use Graco Extend2fit in its rear-facing mode until They are 50 pounds in weight. While Graco Sequel only can be use until the child weigh 40lbs. But when It comes to forward-facing mode, We can find that both of Graco Extend2Fit and Graco Sequel 65 are similar. Their recommended weight for forward-facing mode is similar. I have a 2 year old foster daughter that my husband and I adopted last week.
