The Menards sales person told me when I asked if it was on display that they had do not display orders on that saw, probably because it was a one time buy. Also, I don’t plan on transporting it so I’m not concerned about that.

We need to know what type number your saw is ,as there were a number of service bulletins on this saw.The correct type number will allow us to help fix your problem.Thanks. For your next table saw shootout, I highly suggest weighing table saw flatness higher than other measures of accuracy. Blade and fence dewalt accessories squareness can be adjusted, but not table flatness. The only course of action for an out-of-flat top is exchanging it for a new one .
Essentialy it helps keep material tight against the fence in front of the blade. I havent used one on this saw but I bet it would work. It is inherently difficult to keep your stock straight on this saw since dewalt accessories the distance between the blade and the front of the deck is short like you said. You could try adjusting your fence so it’s in line with the blade. Some sort of indeed table or rollers could be helpful.
