Casio Announces Dragon Ball Z And One Piece Collaboration G
Introducing a new collaboration timepiece between G-Shock and the world-popular animation One Piece. This new collaboration model exemplifies the parallels between the One Piece g shock protection spirit of always meeting new challenges, and the spirit behind G-Shock development efforts. The base model is the internationally popular digital-analog GA-110 series.
In June, 2020, Casio announced the release of a new addition to the G-SHOCK line of shock-resistant watches. The GA-110JOP has been developed in collaboration with ONE PIECE, a popular Japanese TV anime series. Based on the GA-110, popular baby g shock in worldwide, the new GA-110JOP also sports a big watch case. Using black as the base color, the entire watch is emblazoned with dynamic illustrations of the main character, Monkey D. Luffy, who is growing and becoming stronger.
Battery life is rated at around one and a half days if you’re using the color display, extending to up to a month if you only use the watch for timekeeping and sensors. In 2012, Casio released the GB-6900, a Bluetooth-capable model of the G-Shock. Casio claimed the battery life of 2 years on a single CR2032 battery. Since then, the Bluetooth technology has been incorporated in many top-of-the-line models.
There was a time when I was definitely intrigued with the model, the solid bright color ones especially. with the white strap and the dial with the predominant colors of the reindeer hat. So we can get an idea of what the next One Piece watches will be like. After announcing a Dragon Ball Z timepiece last month, Casio G-SHOCK has announced another anime-inspired wrist piece. This time around, One Piece and its main protagonist Monkey D. Luffy get honored. Where any disputes arise in relation to this policy, such matters shall be resolved upon consultation in good faith between the customer and Casio Singapore Pte Ltd.

Luffy, a boy whose body gained the properties of rubber after unintentionally eating a Devil Fruit.
The inset dial in the 9 o’clock position displays a four-star ball motif. This ball is one of the seven dragon balls, and is the one most closely associated with Son Goku. The Dragon Ball Z logo can be found on the case back and on the special package.
Detailing to reference the Straw Hat Pirates hero are abundant as his iconic Straw Hat is positioned on the inset dial and “WANTED” is embellished at the 3 o’clock position. To reference the “X” on the captain’s chest, the hour and minute hands create two diagonal lines. Black, pink and white are used throughout the wristband for the illustrations. Based on Casio G-Shock’s chunky GA-110 model, the new watches sport resin cases and bands fully decked out in graphic designs from their respective anime series, with even more references incorporated into the dials. The GA-110, which combines analog hands atop a digital display, measures 51.2mm wide but is light on the wrist , water-resistant to 200m and includes the typical G-Shock suite of timing functions as well as a 2-year battery.
The GW-9400 Rangeman and GWN-1000 Gulfmaster models have a Triple Sensor with a digital compass, thermometer, and barometer/altimeter. The MTG-S1000, GW-A1000, and GPW-1000 feature Triple G Resist which includes resistance to shock, centrifugal gravity, and vibration. In 2014, Casio introduced the GPS Hybrid Wave Ceptor feature in the GPW-1000 Gravitymaster that allows the watch to synchronize the time through GPS signals and also adjusts the time zone automatically.
