Mudmaster
Is it unreasonable to wish that the digital parts illuminated along with the analog parts ? I know I can’t really see the digital with the analog light. My previous Mudman gave nearly 8 years of faithful service before it literally fell apart and I would expect this one to last as well. This mudmaster is meant for those who requires a watch this tough, those who defend your ass when you’re sleeping. It seems that Casio keeps it up very well by releasing all these great G-Shocks to fulfill the customers requirements. Some may say that the future is for the smart watches but I strongly disagree with that.

But the best advice I was given to care of my watches was to take them of before shower (and for sleeping but shower is what’s more damaging). The toughest watches, the more waterproof watches are not made to endure hot water and detergent everyday. Since I stopped wearing them under shower, I just wipe them with my bath towel before going to sleep when I take my watch off, so you clean the sweat and the dust of the day and it’s clean when you put it on in the morning. The two G’s I bought since I do that are just like brand new after a full year. For those on the road, the Quad sensors- compass, thermometer, altimeter/barometer, and step tracker – are other useful tools. The watch features a very bright illumination technology „Super-Illuminator” as Casio calls it, that can be activated with the touch of a button. The luminous coating on the hands and hour markers are very bright and will offer great readiness even in very dark environments. Casio have added a new high-end model to their G-Shock family, the great looking GWG-1000 Mudmaster. As with other G-Shock models the Mudmaster is shock-resistan, but is also constructed to resist mud and vibration so that it can be useful in a variety of harsh land environments, like the desert or mud.
The three new GGB100 timepieces were created with an updated Carbon Core Guard Structure and triple-layered carbon-insert bezel, providing durability in a lightweight case. If you spend any amount of time outdoors it’s worth a look. Easier to read than a digital display and will survive anything you can. The first killed the alarm sound and the final one caused the display to go off when you pressed the light. The lesson learned is always to get your battery replaced at a good store.

It is tough as a rock, looks amazing and can last forever with its solar-powered battery. The watch packs in a slew of important basic technology features that makes it the perfect companion for your outdoor trips. Last but not the least; GWD-1000 is a step baby g shock ahead of modern smartwatches, when it comes to basics like battery life. To bear the vibrations and shocks, the watch module has been given an Alpha Gel treatment. GWD-1000 can withstand a dip in water by up to 200 m and has a vibration resistant structure.
In testing, mud didn’t seem to hurt the watch’s functions at all, but it is hard to completely clean from the many nooks, crannies, and facets of the Mudmaster’s complex case. Speaking about the casing and materials it has a high-quality mineral glass window that tends to be tough and scratch resistant as opposed to the sapphire crystal that is more shock resistant.
