G Shock Mudmaster
We are talking about Casio, known for its rugged G-Shock watch line-up. The funny thing about this watch, is that Casio doesn’t advertise the temperature selection on its wheel of functions. g shock protection In fact, you probably wouldn’t know it even read the temperature if you didn’t read the instructions. The watch has not one, but two batteries, and neither of them are solar.
During my usage, I did not struggle to read the information on dial, however the intensity of the light is quite low. It is not even able to light up half of the dial, which is a bit low-down. G-Shock Mudmaster GWG-1000 comes equipped with triple sensor mechanism including Digital compass, Barometric pressure/Altitude and Temperature readings. It provides instant access to direction you are heading, barometric pressure, and temperature readings of the current environment around you. In the middle of all this analog-digital watchmaking, one watchmaker is still holding its traditional roots and has come out with yet another product, defining company’s conventional watch line-up.
The dial is illuminated by a Super Illuminator, high-brightness auto LED light to ensure high visibility under virtually any condition imaginable. The band surface is processed to resemble a cloth band texture, and the hour and minute hands are shaped with points that make them resemble warning markers. All buttons have a checkered surface for surer operation, and the overall design is tough and rugged. The watch is shock-resistant, water-resistant to 200 meters, mud-resistant, and includes a thermometer. Offered in military themed colorways including black, green and orange, the watches are designed to prevent debris from entering the case.
I’ve known my friend, Nathan, for the better part of ten years, and for about the last six, he’s been an avid mountain biker, pillar of the biking community in our area, and all-around good dude. There are some cases where they do not charge much of a premium. The GWG-1000GB-1A adds a luxurious touch to the Mudmaster’s appearance by using a gold color for the ring dial, buttons, buckle, and band keeper. This model will also be released in the USA as the GWG1000GB-1A.
The G-Shock land series are built to prevent intrusion by sand, mud, or dust. Ensuring reliable operation in the harshest environments, this tough structure is prepared to support training g shock protection and actual missions in environments such as jungles and deserts. On the technical side, the MUDMASTER uses a quad-sensor that provides a variety of vital information to the owner.
Multiple gaskets are used on the pipes that guide buttons and shafts, which keeps mud out. The dial of the dual-display watch is marked with large Arabic numerals at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock for easy reading.
The lower-left button on the left opens the list of the features on the watch’s LED strip, which you can access or customize with the help of upper-left button. The list of features includes timer, stopwatch, alarm, atmospheric pressure, temperature, etc. The thermometer g shock protection can give readings in either Celsius or Fahrenheit. The watch’s dial is illuminated by a LED light and is protected by a sapphire crystal, which as per Casio cannot be scratched. It also ensures high visibility under virtually any conditions imaginable.
The case is made of high-rigidity carbon material to protect against damage and deformation due to impact and other rough treatment, while metal button pipes ensure a tighter seal against the external environment. A filter further protects against the invasion of mud, for the high level of dust and mud resistance required when in severe environments. In addition, the dual back cover consists of a stainless steel panel back and an outer cover made of shock resistant fine resin embedded with glass fibers. With a name like “Mudmaster,” you know that this is a watch that isn’t afraid to get dirty. Its massive 55 mm case makes room for a ton of structural engineering that its name suggests, starting with a Carbon Core Guard structure that protects its movement and its modules with a carbon fiber reinforced resin case.
As the previous model, the G-Steel also features a „hands out of the way” function which will put the hands in a position that will let you see all of the background indicators. The rest of the functions are similar to other top G-Shocks like alarms, world time, chronograph, dual time display, high intensity LED light and many more. The feature list is also huge; a compass, a thermometer, stopwatch, timer, alarm, a digital time, date and world time as well as the analogue hands. The analog clock is good as it makes it easy to quickly read the time thanks to the large hands and contrasting markers. In addition, it has large applied Arabic numerals for 12, 3, 6, 9.
