Way easier to travel with vs a gaming console, something I can also use for work. The graphics are amazing, even older games from over a decade ago look amazing and run super smooth. I loaded up my game turned settings to low and it still sounds like a airplane taking off! I would not recommend this for anyone wanting to play MMO games online. But, if you want an NVIDIA card, or you want more ray tracing performance, then this RTX 2070 standard is worth considering over an RX 5700 XT.

I’m hoping that third-party RX 5700 XT and 5700 cards will deal with the noise and heat situation a lot better than AMD’s reference blower, as they usually come with multiple fans. I’d recommend waiting on those if you’re impressed by the performance gains but not by the heat and noise produced or if you’re interested in overclocking these cards. I was most surprised with the gtx 1080 8gb Super performance, bringing it very close to what the standard RTX 2080 can offer. If you’re looking at spending $699 on the new RTX 2080 Super, then I would definitely look at the 2070 Super, which has most of the performance of an RTX 2080 for $200 less.
