Ever since Computex, NVIDIA has been teasing a “Super” announcement of their own. NVIDIA is launching a mid-generation kicker for their mid-to-high-end video card lineup in the form of their GeForce RTX 20 series Super cards. Based on the same family of Turing GPUs as the original GeForce RTX 20 series cards, these new Super cards – all suffixed Super, appropriately enough – come with new configurations and new clockspeeds. I briefly tested the 2080 Super, too, and the performance gains over the regular RTX 2080 weren’t as significant as the 2060 Super and 2070 Super. Although, with just a dual fan design, the ZOTAC Mini is a bit shorter—so, if case clearance is a concern, opting for the ZOTAC Mini over the Windforce OC might make sense.
Whether it’s a justifiable upgrade also depends on what graphics card you’re moving up from.
