In the morning the watch would look great, but there are problems with the black ones at night you won’t be able to notice the time that quick enough until you are a true ‘Black’ Fanboys it won’t matter you much. Other than that though each and every perspective, the 2100A has impressed me a lot and I hope you too would be impressed. The Casio G-Shock GA-2100 range comes in three main colors – all black , black with some gray accents, and all red.

Expected complications like a stopwatch and timer are easily available by pressing the appropriate button on the side of the case. There is a good chance when someone mentions digital watches, one of your first thoughts is going to be of a G-Shock. The Casio-owned brand has been around for a few decades and their design aesthetic is recognizable by many. The square-shaped cases are often chunky and rugged-looking, giving wearers a sense of security that bumps and scrapes won’t damage their G-Shocks. OK, an entire week with only the popular G-Shock Casioak as a wrist buddy has been refreshing, but what about the dark blue suit / white shirt get-up I’ve got planned for a cocktail party? On Zoom – again, but with the laptop at a distance and the occasional stand-up toast, my choice is clear, making the threesome a glittering foursome (God save me if my wife read this, a week of top models and threesomes…) .

The all-black sombre elegance of the GA A1ER, the classic Casioak, pairs well even with a nice olive green shirt and tailored chinos. The hidden benefit of slim wrists, is the ability to get even quite chunky watches under a nice cuff and, for me, these types of style contrasts rule. OK, so the business meeting changed to another bloody Teams video chat , but no one knew, as the sharp shirt remained.

The GA-2100SU-A1JF is my favorite variation with a screen-printed camouflage pattern on top of the bezel. The Casio G-Shock has historically been a watch that I haven’t been able to connect with. Every G-Shock was polarizing on opposite ends of the spectrum to me. They seemed to be something designed for an operator training course or designed to match a retro pair of Jordan 4s that I’m not interested in. Select a color by clicking on a colored square located at the left to display all the watches matching that color.

I do like the world-time function as it displays the time of oddball timezones such as India and it’s handy when scheduling meetings. The manageable size of this watch is also a big plus as mentioned above. I found the digital functions such as world time, stopwatch, and timer useless. The screen is so small that it’s impossible to read while running.

As a result, it has become difficult to find, with only limited availability, and prices on the secondhand market increasing as a result. Today, the G-shock design has become iconic and is associated with durable and rugged timepieces. It is notoriously known for being able to hold up to all kinds of shocks, bangs, and mistreatment, yet still, continue to function properly. The only parts in contrast are the hardware buttons, strap screws and buckle. This sounds good but I’d actually far prefer they were all PVD or DLC black too similar to what I have on my RedOut edition from last year. The first thing you notice about the watch is that g shock watch its dark – real dark! In fact in anything but ideal light you’ve got yourself an expensive rubber bracelet. This isn’t a deal breaker as when there is light, or when you manage to set the LED to display for more than 3 milliseconds, you can kinda tell the time, ish.

Let’s start with the shape, the GA2100-1a1 appeared on the gram and elsewhere online, and the case shape and dial just grabbed my eyes. It distinctively looks like an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak. Blacked out with darkened lumes, inverted LCD, and that octagon bezel, it just looked stunningly beautiful.

The bezel has an octagonal design, just like the Royal Oak, and the integrated bracelet further adds to its resemblance. Whilst the original G-shock also has an octangular bezel, it is also rectangular, which makes its design a bit of a stretch in terms of resemblance. But with that said, it also gives Casio the argument of simply reshaping and redesigning its already existing model. So how does this sub-$100 watch manage to charm like the best of them? To start, it’s the thinnest G-Shock currently in production. The case is 11.8mm tall, and even more, it wraps around the wrist in a way that makes it feel even thinner.

There will be no parts or labor charge to you for valid warranty services. Due to the possibility of damage or loss during shipping, it is recommended when sending the product for service that you package the product securely and send it insured, return receipt requested. The hour markers are large and clear rectangles with easy to read hour and minute hands. Of course, there is no second hand as this is taken care of by the digital display. That is done using a unique angled screen between 3 and 6 o’clock and helps you control all the other functions.
