Compared to its price, it has very good stability and durability, also the best outlook as well. It doesn’t track very well but it’s very stable and safe which makes it very appealing to the newcomers. Plus, the exterior design is very good looking and stylish. This kayak weighs only 27.3lbs which is comparatively very light weighted. The Intex Challenger K1 kayak comes in very vibrant colors and graphics on the exterior.
One was very durable, but as heavy and bulky as our hard kayaks. Neither made it out of our living room and both went back to the store. Not good enough for intermediate kayaks as it’s not an all-purpose kayak. Comes with the Intex Challenger K1 Kayak skeg which is very durable. Light weighted but can carry a good amount of weight.

If you plan on using this kayak over the long term, for more than just a single intex purespa summer, you may want to invest in an upgraded paddle. Streamlined shape– The compact, streamlined shape of the Challenger K1 makes it easy to paddle. If you use it only on lakes, then there is very little chance of it being punctured by a submerged object.
Step 3 – Inflate the seat and secure seat to velcro strip on the kayak floor. Then attach the seat straps to the intex purespa D-rings on the floor. I haven’t tried paddling it with my dogs, there isn’t a lot of extra space for them.
