DWX723 has a 60-inch pillar and allows for a 16-foot piece of material. DWX724 has a 40-inch pillar and accommodates 10-foot long pieces. Finally, DWX726 has a 32-inch pillar and can hold up to an 8-foot long piece of material. Of course, each of the three stands is easy to use, highly portable, durable, and very stable. After nearly stripping out the Torx head, I gave up and carefully took a drill to the flathead part of the combo head. Essentially, the DeWalt 20V Max Miter Saw is just a battery-operated version of a compact miter dewalt Hand tools saw.
