Dewalt Miter Saw Owner’s Manuals
If you’re familiar with your power tools, there’s a certain brand you may be aware of – the black and yellow of DeWalt. Whether you choose the DWX723, DWX724, DWX726, or even one of the other – less popular – models will depend on a couple of things. Mainly, it will depend on the weight capacity you need for your work, as well as the length of the boards that you plan to work with.
No adjustments were needed for the miter or bevel factory settings which was a nice surprise. After six months of use we continue to be impressed with the saws accuracy and precision even though we use it for both rough framing and finish work. We’ve used the saw cutting exterior trim, decking, interior oak stair treads, and dewalt tools interior trim with great success. Again, I’d compare this saw to any of the DEWALT saws we’ve been using on the job for years. This is perhaps the smallest in the miter saw series but delivers real power and toughness when it comes to its utility. It weighs about 43 pounds and armed with a carbide blade and a blade wrench.
The lock lever needs just a downward push to lock the blade to any angle of miter cut. The table also stops at convenient detents for common cuts and for cutting crown molding flat against the table. If you need infinite variability, a bypass lever gets you free of detents and allows you to quickly move to any degree. With the double bevel saws, the saw blade will be able to tilt to the left and the right, which means that you’ll be able to make bevel cuts at any angle. This makes it a lot easier when you’re working with finishing carpentry, fine woodworking, or other projects that require angle cuts and corners.
On the back of the saw, you can make your adjustments for the bevel cuts and also use the quick bypass. The motor is located on top of the saw for greater capacity. The motor puts out 15 amps and spins the blade at 3800 rpms. Carpenters, framers and more depend on a solid miter saw. One that will take the abuse of the job site and also moving it around from job site to job site. The Dewalt miter saw has proven to be that saw, the saw that stands up.
Tool Craze does not handle the sale of any item in any way. If you purchase something through a post on the Tool Craze site, Tool Craze may get a small share of the sale. A clone would mean it’s a rebranded model from the same factory but this is not.
