No adjustments were needed for the miter or bevel factory settings which was a nice surprise. The Dewalt DWS779 is a corded sliding compound miter saw, so its functionality is impressive when combined with a 12-inch carbide saw blade. In fact the new Hercules miter saw looks very similar to a Dewalt DWS780 miter saw which is also a double bevel sliding 12 inch miter saw.
