Casio Unveils “slimmest Ever” G
In addition to the features listed above, this model also boasts an alarm function, second time zone, and much more. You can call this baby g shock watch your own for about 40 USD. As with other G-Shock watches, these four are shock resistant and water resistant to 200 metres.

However, I don’t think Casio sees these watches as its competition. I fit into this category, but those who aren’t invested in the brand will probably struggle, and I don’t think Casio is looking to convert people into G-Shock fans with the H1000. Touch sensitivity is great, but it’s perhaps a little too sensitive sometimes with the watch selecting features or options accidentally when scrolling through menus.
Casio’s current watch portfolio contains famous collections like the G-Shock, Edifice, and Pro Trek, as well as radio-controlled watches with Wave Ceptor technology. There’s also the Vintage series, which honors digital Casio timepieces from the 1970s and 1980s. Then as now, select models even come with a calculator. More than that, the G-shock collection alone offers many models that can literally provide any style you prefer to have. There’s an analog type, a digital type, an all-analog, and many more. Almost all timepieces under G-shock collection have a backlight, a stopwatch, a countdown timer, and a water resistance up to 200 meters. Like the G-Shock, the Casio Pro Trek collection is comprised of a variety of watches designed for life outdoors. You’ll find both quartz and battery-powered timepieces. Each Pro Trek comes with numerous practical features, such as a digital compass, altimeter, barometer, thermometer, alarm function, and many more.
It connects to the standard Wear OS app and Casio’s G-Shock Move app. The Move app is the same used to sync with the GBD-H1000 sports watch, and keeps track of activity. It’s not essential for using the smartwatch, but it is if you want to use the G-Shock activity tracking suite. However, it doesn’t always reliably reconnect to the watch, sometimes forcing you to pair them together again. The watch’s thickness is the main drawback because it doesn’t fit under cuffs.
It has 200-meters water resistance, yet still has a microphone, and is entirely shock resistant despite having a glass-covered touchscreen. A special titanium carbide finish minimizes the chance of scratching the case and ruining the attractive g shock protection matte finish. It’s the toughest, most damage-resistant smartwatch you’ll buy, from a company that has made exactly this kind of watch since the early 1980s. The GST-B400AD also comes in stainless steel, but is red and black.
