Ralph Lauren Mens Flagship Store

I’m not sure what the perfumer originally intended to evoke with this scent but in the light of typical colognes these days I smell a pipe smoking hairy lumberjack. Not a pansy rich polo player with palm olive hands. Kinda makes me wish I was in high school in the early 80s when this was a normal everyday scent. Today’s version of Polo Green only lasts about 2 hours on me and then it’s a skin scent. The OG lasted for 12 or more hours and it still projected and had great silage through the day.

Not if you can’t pull off wearing this masculine beast of a fragrance. Macho scent but also classy, in the same category as Aramis in that sense. Will be appreciated by people with classic tastes. it is very classy , slightly offensive but it makes you feel that you are very rich because of the tobacco notes. I like it soo much .It is one of the top 5 of more than 200+ perfumes I have smelled.

Our latest Polo Ralph Lauren collection, The Wild Coast, draws inspiration from a journey through nature. Featuring retro-inspired graphics and classic denim, our Polo Ralph Lauren Style icons arrive for a season of exploration. Crafted from slub cotton mesh, these shorts feature a vibrant pattern ralph lauren t shirt inspired by traditional serape blankets. All and all, a lovely scent that will be around for decades, those that want a “modern” perfume, go to the corner CVS and get a cheap AXE. There is no age for a great fragrance, and Polo is one of those ageless perfumes that will become a classic.

An Intense flanker of this fragrance has been on sale for at least 2 weeks at this point and was announced more than a month ago, and it STILL does not have a page on Fragrantica. This is a massive fragrance release, but Fragrantica is too busy talking about the “fragrance brands” that are founded from hipsters’ garages in Seattle and Portland every week. A hall of fame fragrance for sure. My uncles signature for over 30 years.

A classic as other people have stated . My father wore this scent so I have memories associated with polo original. It’s a heavy hitter and should be worn properly . definitely for a burly and confident man to wear .

I get the juniper berry, the pine, basil & artemisa, all of which make this very dark, green, and herbal. The other spices and notes are blended together beautifully. This is a very good fragrance and a grown-up classic for sure. There is very little out there today that smells like this.

The crew neck is the iconic choice and more casual. The V-neck is more universally flattering yet a bit polo dress shirts more formal. For the V-neck appeal, but more casual look, select a sweater with a half-zip neck.

The drydown is dark – heavy leather with woods and tobacco but still with pine note infused. The opening is quite harsh and reminds me of Paco Rabanne Pour Homme. I get mainly a synthetic pine note that seems to become more natural smelling as the fragrance evolves. While Paco Rabanne Pour Homme turns sweet and musky, Polo stays more green, mossy and earthy, more outdoorsy and crisp. I definitely get some caraway or cumin, and tobacco . But there is also just a hint of sweetness in the background that binds together the green, earthy and spicy notes.
