I loved it for its masculine juniper and pine as a child, and now I appreciate the subtle backbone of leather. This is a clean, older-style scent, and is very much in my wheelhouse as a result. I’ve always appreciated my barbershops, old schools, and pine scents have always appealed to me.

The big talk about this one is reformulation.
I recently read about this perfume and was astonished that it was created in 1978. And that it is called an old man’s perfume. I’ve been wearing this polo dress shirts since the time I was 24 and fit right in. I think it is extremely masculine scent. It can be worn by anyone who can carry off the masculine feel.
A classic as other people have stated . My father wore this scent so I have memories associated with polo original. Polo Ralph Lauren t shirt It’s a heavy hitter and should be worn properly . definitely for a burly and confident man to wear .
I’m not sure why this scent is so polarizing, but it definitely can be too overwhelming for some occasions. It’s just such an amazing green leathery ralph lauren t shirt tobacco-ey scent that smells like money to me. I still have about 5 mL left in my 1995 bottle, so I can’t judge the current formulation.
