Polo Ralph Lauren Men’s Collection Online

Nothing to add but this is the epitome of masculine men’s fragrance. Redolent of pine trees and stale cigarette butts. A sharp, bitter synthetic “green” fragrance that’s more dated than Burt Reynolds’ mustache.

A traditional man, a loyal man, a good father and a loving husband. I am wearing it today for the first time after almost 4 months and what an awesome fragrance! I am not sure if it is my imagination but it smells much more pleasant that what it did in December. It could be that the contents had to settle or mature in the bottle as is the case with my Aventus and other fragrances.

Our latest Polo Ralph Lauren collection, The Wild Coast, draws inspiration from a journey through nature. Featuring retro-inspired graphics and classic denim, our Polo Ralph Lauren Style icons arrive for a season of exploration. Crafted from slub cotton mesh, these shorts feature a vibrant pattern inspired by traditional serape blankets. All and all, a lovely scent that will be around for decades, those that want a “modern” perfume, go to the corner CVS and get a cheap AXE. There is no age for a great fragrance, and Polo is one of those ageless perfumes that will become a classic.

Current formulation is absolutely wonderful. Pine & oakmoss wrapped in ambery-balsamic green leather. Smells very natural, therefore much better than previous reformulations. I recently picked up a Cosmair version off of Ebay with only 10 percent remaining in the bottle – totally worth it. One spray – no kidding – was like 10 sprays of the weak 4-cylinder version. Neutered is not too strong of a word.

Longevity is weak to moderate and sillage good for an hour. Then it becomes a very nice skinscent w/ soft projection. Need to reapply 4-5 times through the day. It’s also a quite aggressive scent so if someone around you doesn’t like it you’re very likely to annoy people wearing this. It’s not outdated in the sense that an older person (I’m 32) could wear it better.

Not if you can’t pull off wearing this masculine beast of a fragrance. Macho scent but also classy, in the same category as Aramis in that sense. Will be appreciated by people with classic tastes. it is very classy , slightly offensive but it makes you feel that you are very rich because of the tobacco notes. I like it soo much .It is one of the top 5 of more than 200+ perfumes I have smelled.

But that being said, Polo is a classic. Hopefully, it will stay around for a long, long time. Workplaces and society in general are less tolerant of fragrances than they used to be. It has impacted Polo’s wearability in 2019, and you don’t smell it as much as you used to. Supposedly, it’s been reformulated to reflect this and I’ve read that a lot of men prefer the vintage Cosmair formula to today’s version. One of my favourite frangraces, real masculine smell with great longevity, which gives you time to enjoy it in its different stages.starts of with grassy notes than finishes off with a leathery scent.

The heart is strong and masculine as conifer woods, decorated with notes of patchouli, oakmoss and vetiver. The base contains leather, tobacco and thyme, which create a wonderful, intensive trail. Polo is one of the two first perfumes by Ralph Lauren and it was created by Carlos Benaim in 1978. A scent with a strong, spiced woodsy concentration that offers a burst of flavor. Most likely to people who haven´t ever inhaled British Sterling or Canoe.

I’m only surprised that according to the pyramid, the pine needle and leather notes are in the mid-section, as I feel as though I get a blast of them instantly. That combination, to my nose, are what this perfume is all about – super-fresh pine modified by a soothing, rich brown leather. I do get Polo Ralph Lauren t shirt the basil and drop of gin in the opening too mind, but overall it’s a leather and pine binge. I would suggest this for the mature man, 40’s and up. You won’t be getting huge compliments, as a matter of fact the opposite. This is a mature man’s scent and should be worn for personal enjoyment.
