Easy to use– You’ll either be using three dials to air fry, convection bake/broil, or the one for toasting. The door features a large window to keep an eye on any food item without interrupting the cooking process. This high-quality, full-size toaster oven/fryer has some great little features as well. It includes a safety door that immediately shuts down the toaster oven when opening it and a timer to switch on the toaster oven. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the oven’s interior light burned out within the first few seconds I used it.
The Cuisinart comes with three trays–the air frying basket , a sheet pan, and a rack. These are all interchangeable in position based on what you’re cooking. You want whichever rack you are using to be on top, but make sure the air fry pan is always sitting atop the sheet pan so it can catch drippings, crumbs, etc. You can also use the sheet pan as you would a regular sheet pan in your full-size oven for baking, air frying, etc.
Went online to check out how to replace it and saw that many others have had the same problem with the oven light. It also appears that the entire oven has to be taken apart to replace the bulb, so we won’t be replacing it. I don’t think it’s enough of a problem to return the unit, because you can always open the door and peep in. Almost wish it didn’t have that feature so I wouldn’t miss it. We have had the most trouble when my son makes chicken tenders or pizza rolls. I will watch more videos from people who have it figured out. It cleans fairly easily my only complaint is I wish it had a removable crumb tray in the bottom, it’s hard to clean the crumbs out from under the coils. Definitely not regretting my purchase just need more time to figure it out. To toast bread, bagels, English muffins, or other items first set the function dial to Toast. Set the temperature to Toast/Broil then set the on/Toast Timer to the desired setting, from light to dark. The timer will ding when the cycle has ended and the oven will turn off. It’s certainly not as good as the big ol’ Breville Smart Oven Air — although it’s still great for a dual-function air fryer toaster oven. The stainless steel baking pan and air frying basket are easy to clean. It also has an easy-to-clean crumb tray that slides out for washing. And, although this convection toaster oven does have a fan, the motor is so quiet you’ll barely hear it.
This air fryer toaster oven air fries the quickest with no additional preheat time. It made chicken wings super crispy in 20 minutes, as well as fries in even less time. Its power is impressive and is comparable to the best free-standing air fryers.
