I never used the vintage formula but I am more than impressed with the June 2018 product. I was able to smell it on my arm still 8 hours later which is more than satisfactory. To me, this is more spring and fall oriented. Mature scent, it would not suit high school anymore. I have always perceived my grandpa as very classy. This is deffo not an everyday perfume.
It smelled like the highest quality and made you smell rich. Todays version, it’s quite obvious that the quality has been gutted from it. I can’t begin to tell you younger lads just how incredible this fragrance was back in the day! Polo is here for fans of beautiful, eternal things. Its name awakens association with a closed circle of the chosen and this circle has its rules and traditions.
Yes it is potent, but that is the point. The virility expressed through potency in this cologne is matched by the uber masculine green-oakmoss accord. I really don’t know about the reformulation. The bottle ralph lauren t shirt I have is recent and superb. Let me put it this way, if it is reformulated just think of it as a new perfume and it would stand head and shoulders above any new release or any of the new Tom Ford Fougeres.
