Budweiser X Casio G
The first is the $750 Mudmaster from the Master of G series, an enormous battle-ready analog/digital hybrid badass with more capability than your smartphone. The second is the $150 Hotei Limited Edition from the 7 Lucky Gods Collection, which appears fey and airy but is, baby g shock like all G-Shocks, tough as nails. Also, the Hotei sold out in pre-sale, and will likely be up for sale on the nerd-forums for multiples of the original price. DW6900BMC-1 $ 99.00 G-SHOCK announces new models decorated with colors that recall modern Tokyo street scenes.
However, we do want to point out that the Waveceptor most certainly has the advantage in the aesthetics category with its sleek black and silver-tone case. Your typical Casio timepiece will usually come with 50-meter water resistance. Of course, Casio does provide dive watches with higher water resistance ratings in their catalog, but these are specially designed. When it comes to G-Shock g shock watch watches, all of their timepieces, from entry-level to high end, will have a 100-meter to 200-meter water resistance. Basically, all G-Shock watches are designed to be water-resistant by default. People usually associate the ’80s with neon Day-Glo colors, and there was certainly a lot of that, but there were also some really fantastic color combinations that were more subtle and cool.
The timepiece has a smart Bluetooth connection that allows you to establish a connection with your smartphone and manage all the functions. The watch can also be considered a great accessory for physical activities, since it has a pedometer and stopwatch function. The dial is digital and can be used as a timer, stopwatch or daily alarm, using the buttons on the side of the case. There is also a lighting system that revives the entire LCD screen. The construction of this timepiece allows it to withstand shocks and it is also anti-magnetic. The resistance of the model is ensured by the resin case, waterproofing up to 660 feet and mineral glass.
In fact, standard G-Shock watches don’t even use premium quality glass such as sapphire crystal. Most of their more affordable timepiece only use the cheaper mineral crystal glass. However, it comes with an additional coating to enhance its scratch resistance considerably.
Also noteworthy is the comfortable strap, made of resin, with a width that reaches 27 mm. The face of the watch is round, protected by a resistant mineral glass. On the dial there is also a small LCD screen that can be used as a date. The watch can be connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth and allows you to view the exact time, thanks to the reception of the radio signal. This model has simple but essential features for those who want a multi-tasking watch, so to speak.
The original G-Shock from 1983 also had this inner stainless steel case and screw-back structure, but it was abandoned for a resin inner case in later models. With its superior build quality and classic lineage, the GW JF is one of the finest examples of a G-Shock. The Gulfmaster’s functions include a triple sensor, moon and tide graphs, radio wave and manual reception, a digital compass, an advanced barometer and altimeter, and a countdown timer. Push buttons on the case give easy access to settings and the stopwatch. The time is displayed with luminous analog hands and geometric indices along with an LCD digital display.
I am still wearing a GWM5600A-3 from ten years ago and haven’t had to change the battery yet. At 59.5 × 56.1 × 18.0 mm, the GWG-1000 is one of the larger G-Shock watches. It is billed as the ideal watch for rescue workers, and it will certainly appeal to those in other physically demanding professions. Another wgreat G Shock, in my opinion, anyway, is the GDX-6900, the XL version of the DW6900. The GDX has a 10-year battery, and the size is fine for my wrist. I have the blacked-out version, and have no problem reading the negative display.
I’m stuck with the choice of Casio GWN Q1000-1A and GPW 1000-B. I love the offering of the sea features but missing the GPS feature on the Gravity master, please help. That would be a great choice, keep in mind it is a larger watch. Positives are that it looks great with large analog-digital display, has Triple Sensor and Tough Solar/Multi-Band 6. Negative is that it is one of the more expensive Triple Sensor G-Shock watches.
