A super-illuminator LED light shows off the futuristic look of the 700Sk-1A model. Functions include a full auto-calendar, 12/24-hour format, stopwatch, and countdown timer. It also uses the dual display from the Casio Pro-Trek range, which blends a full color and low-res display to improve battery performance.

I got a g-shock dw6900 both analog and digital but am facing a problem, the digital side stopped working don’t know if i pressed some where or some thing is wrong.I really need your guys. Eminem, Pharrell Williams, Chris Martin, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Bradley Cooper have loved and adored the G-Shock for many years. Of course they flaunt their luxury timepieces when they will, but they’re not shy about flaunting their love for this one either. They are pretty rugged, work well, and the one I had also had a digital compass and altimeter that came in handy. It’s still going strong after all these years later while my Armani has popped out twice.” – Ex U.S. Armed Forces Serviceman.

With that in mind, the team set out to develop a watch using such a concept and in 1983, the first G-Shock, the DW-5000C, was launched. Google’s Wear OS platform could certainly use some more actual smartwatches to run on, and Casio has obliged with the GSW-H1000 – the first G-Shock smartwatch from the brand to come with Wear OS on board. With a more stripped-down dial and a mid-sized case, this model is aiming for a little less on purpose.

There are a slew of one-offs in the G-SHOCK digital lineup, all inspired by the classic 6900 model. These models currently include the GW2310FB-1B4, GR8900A-1, the GDX6900FB-1, and the DW6900SK-1 with two other color variants, as well as some of the recent Revival Collection models. These are nearly identical baby g shock in appearance to many other models, but offer specific protection for extreme cold. The icy blue colorway is a standout, given its intended sub-zero use. The textile and leather strap ads a little variation for the obsessive collector. Standard models are usually in stock, while limited editions come and go.

GBD800-1B $ 99.00 GBD800 water resistant digital models features a multi-segment digital display to improve readability and operation while engaged in sports. The final of three series is the GA2100HC (aka the “Casio Oak”), which is available in two versions. The GA2100HC-2A, has a clear white bezel, a blue translucent band, and a blue and white dial, and the GA2100HC-4A has an olive green bezel, orange translucent band, with orange accents on the dial. This slim case design also has a Carbon Core Guard structure for enhanced strength and shock resistance. For his next experiment, Mr Ibe equipped a watch with a ball-like protective cage. It worked, but was too bulky to be practical, so he decided to develop a rugged plastic case to allow the mechanism to “float” on five impact-absorbing contact points.

These newish additions to the lineup are all about tracking your workouts, whether they’re elaborate interval programs or simply a series of steps. The colorways are intended to make them more wearable with everyday clothes, encouraging you to keep it on and keep fit. Styled just like the originals, but now with full metal construction, including bracelets on some models.

Since then, the Bluetooth technology has been incorporated in many top-of-the-line models. The DW models are standard battery powered G-Shocks while GW models of the G-Shock come with either Tough Solar or Multi-Band atomic timekeeping or both. While there are some decent Wear OS smartwatches out there, another one is very welcome.

It’s immediately obvious the GSW-H1000 is a G-Shock watch as it takes styling cues from a variety of existing G-Shock models, and congratulations should go to Casio for not watering down the looks. There’s no mistaking it for any other watch and everything G-Shock fans love about the design has been included. Perhaps surprisingly, it’s incredibly “watch-like” and if you’ve worn a previous generation Mudmaster, the Rangeman, or an older Gravitymaster G-Shock, the GSW-H1000 feels very similar to all of them. Its classic lineage makes the G-Shock GW-5000-IJF a favorite with watch collectors. Since they’re manufactured regularly in Japan, the G-Shock watches are easy to find at a good price.

It is available in numerous colors, several styles and even in some collectible limited editions, such as G-Shock x Sankuanz, G-Shock x Stash Graffiti-Style and G-Shock x Futura Graffiti Limited Edition. With the launch of its first watch in 1974, Casio entered the wristwatch market at a time when the watch industry had just discovered digital technology. As a company with cutting-edge electronic technology developed for pocket calculators, Casio entered this field confident that it could develop timepieces that would lead the market. Casio released the G-Shock in April 1983, to fill the demand for durable watches. In order to promote the G-Shock worldwide, the American division of Casio released a commercial in which an ice hockey player used the DW-5000C as a hockey puck to demonstrate the toughness of the watch.
