It comes equipped with a 1.2-inch capacitive touchscreen dual-layer display — a colour TFT LCD and a monochrome LCD. The monochrome display come with always-on function to show time, while the colour LCD shows maps, notifications, baby g shock sensor data, and other information. The GA900 comes in two versions with matte resin cases and bezels. The GA900HC-3A has an olive-green bezel, beige and olive-green band with orange accents on the dial while the GA900HC-5A has a beige bezel, black and beige band, and yellow accents on the dial. The GA900 models have a 7-year battery life and an interchangeable band. The gray dial has an attractive brick pattern and is encircled by a square stainless steel bezel. Its quartz movement is powered by Casio’s Tough Solar technology and the battery self-charges. As far as making the GSW-H1000 a true G-Shock smartwatch goes, Casio has fulfilled the brief perfectly. However, by rigidly sticking to the obvious remit, problems for a wider audience are introduced, starting with the size. It’s massive, and I say this as someone who likes G-Shock’s larger watches. The case measures 65mm by 56mm, and is 19.5mm thick, with a total weight of 104 grams. The shock-resistant sports watch gets attention with a flash alert and includes a moon and tide graph for watersports enthusiasts.
