The physics seem to work in my head… but does it seem appealing to any of you? Because a tiny vacuum is a quiet one… which works well for apartments or condos… thin walls dewalt tools and all that… And the price seems right for this use more than it does as a portable tool. A full Dust Extraction system you just have to add a giant collector bin to?

Finally, if you want a compact model, it’s hard to beat the cordless DeWalt DCS361B which packs the ability to cut over 175 2x4s using a single 4Ah 20V Max battery. Built on the platform of the well-regarded DWS780 miter saw, this tool packs plenty of power and has an available adapter to let you run it off AC power when needed.
No matter how you slice it, Milwaukee takes the entire impact wrench segment in our opinion. The Milwaukee High-torque impact wrench remains the most powerful cordless model we’ve tested. As such, it edges out the DeWalt DCF899 impact wrench in power. DeWalt had lost its “solo” position as the top tool brand and allowed Milwaukee to compete for Pro dominance. Now, DeWalt seems to have caught up, even making some impressive moves with respect to its FlexVolt line of 60V tools.

With the included remote I could realistically put this up almost to the ceiling and put the wall-mount dust deputy underneath of it. I do find it odd, hearing that any kind of light, laser, or stationary unmanned tool doesn’t come with some sort of remote operation method. That kind of oversight would be one of my first design thoughts, if I were to design the electronics… Bluetooth remote operation, or some sort of universal light/laser/on-off RF remote for these kinds of tools. If you can get a remote shutter button for your phone, it shouldn’t be a terribly difficult, or expensive, thing to add to the operation. Looks like a nice tool, though there’s obviously some funny business going on with the specifications.
On the cordless side, we love the Milwaukee cordless 12-inch sliding miter saw. It’s 3/4 the weight of their corded saw and cuts almost as well. If ever two companies sparred over a single tool for dominance, it would be the question of buying a DeWalt vs Milwaukee circular saw. First off, the Milwaukee M18 and DeWalt FlexVolt 60V rear handle and sidewinder saws share many physical similarities. Switching to the mid-torque, the Milwaukee mid-torque impact wrenches provide up to 550 foot-pounds of fastening torque. Compare that to the 330 foot-pounds on the DeWalt DCF896 1/2″ impact wrench.
