I had very little trouble dialing in the bevel angles that I wanted. It was nice to see that the DeWalt 20V miter saw is just as accurate as any of the other miter saws we have in the shop. If that didn’t matter, HF wouldn’t have made the Hercules look like Dewalt’s. They are basically trying to milk any profits they can from the Dewalt name. Amazon, HomeDepot and several other vendors are running a sale now but they are only offering the Type 1 saw which has a very sticky right rail, supported by a bronze bushing.
We feel this is the best way to simulate actual use on the job. Obviously, with the new 9.0 Ah battery packs that were just released dewalt Hand tools this month, the run time will be even greater. The Dewalt sliding compound miter saw features a design that’s pro all the way.
