Mudman G-9300 has a compass and thermometer and Rangeman GW-9400 has an altimeter, barometer, compass, and thermometer. They both have Tough Solar power but Rangeman also has Multi-Band 6 time syncing. (Mudmaster GW-9300, not G-9300, also has Multi-Band 6 and carbon fiber strap keeper but that is a Japan-only model). Rangeman is an excellent choice for an outdoor watch and has a lot more features than the Mudman G-9300.

They are about the same but the GWG-1000 will use up the battery at a slightly faster rate . This shouldn’t be an issue if you keep the watch fully charged. How often you use the sensors and certain features will also affect the battery life. Features that move the hands such as the compass and hand shift feature may also use up more battery than the GW-9400 would. Thanks, you would need to get a strap adapter to use a nato strap but I’m not sure where to get one for that model.

With a more stripped-down dial and a mid-sized case, this model is aiming for a little less on purpose. It won’t dominate your outfit, but will bring the high-tech vibe of a G-Shock nonetheless. Like their GAS cousins below, these models exude a perhaps unintentional driving motif, while providing street-ready style, as well.
