Each watch has a unique color scheme and comes in packaging bearing the band’s virtual likenesses. The first model, Now Now, debuted in 2018 and celebrates the band’s album of the same name. It has the G-Shock’s classic square resin case and features the same blue and pink swirls found on the album cover. The second edition, the Camo G-Shock, followed a year later. Its case, dial, and indices are all different shades of green based on the band’s “Geep” camouflage pattern – a pattern that also appears on one of the two included straps.

The Giulia was second in 2017 European Car of the Year voting and was named Motor Trend Car of the Year for 2018. In 2018, Giulia was awarded the Compasso d’Oro industrial design award. Every watch has a relationship between the dial and the case. The GA-2100 is interesting because the dial and case seem to all be part of the same object, as opposed to being distinct elements that make up a complete timepiece. Here is where the Royal Oak comparison actually makes the most sense – that’s a watch whose style is built on a harmony between the angular case and its integrated bracelet. But the so called CasiOak takes it a step further, blending not just the dial but it’s associated furniture into the same hunk of red plastic.

The Quadrifoglio’s main competitors are cars such as the Mercedes-AMG C63, BMW M3 and the Cadillac ATS-V. The new four-cylinder petrol engine is rated at a maximum power output of 280 PS (206 kW; 276 hp) at 5,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 400 N⋅m (295 lb⋅ft) at 2,250 rpm. The new Giulia was unveiled to the press at the Museo Storico Alfa Romeo in Arese, on 24 June 2015, at an event which involved only the top-of-the-range Quadrifoglio variant and a rendition of “Nessun dorma” by Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli. The occasion coincided with the company’s 105th anniversary, and also saw the company debut a restyled logo for all future Alfa Romeo models. The Giulia was also presented under the new La meccanica delle emozioni slogan (“the mechanics of emotions” in Italian).

(The GA A and GA A also have Neo-Brite luminous hands.) The dimensions are 48.5 x 45.4 x 11.8 millimeters and the weight is 51 grams. I’ve not seen any additional straps to buy yet but hey, new stuff! The strap itself feels a little thinner and more rigid than my other resin G-SHOCK and other Casios in general but this may be because it’s new and I’ve not broken it in yet. Adding a bit of panache to the successful X-Large GA120 series, the new GA201 employs a black IP aluminum bezel and additional metal accents on the dial for added depth and an upscale look.

The electronic stability control and the traditional brake booster are combined in a single electromechanical system. On the interior, it has black, red or tan leather sport seats and a sports steering wheel with a suede grip, aluminium inserts on the dashboard, central tunnel, door panels and Xenon headlights. The aforementioned LCD screen has an effective and quite enjoyable backlight, and when you turn it on, in the normal time telling mode, the watch’s wearer is greeted with a digital readout of the time as well as the seconds count. It’s also the home for using the various additional functions of the watch. First, the screen is just too small to coherently display all of the information you’d want to see if you were timing something, or checking another timezone. You can figure it out, sure, but it takes a second or two of additional analysis that just isn’t needed with a larger screen.

Select a color by clicking on a colored square located at the left to display all the watches matching that color. The hands of this model have a luminous layer that glows in the dark. You can measure the amount of g shock watch time between two events using this watch. The backlight is a dial illumination that allows you to use this watch in the dark. The Alarm will remind you of repeated events with a beep, which you can set to any time.

Japanese master metalworker Bihou Asano processes each watch by hand using the stunning “tsuiki” hammer-tone technique. Simply put, “tsuiki” refers to the art of applying a pattern to metal using a g shock watch hammer. The result is a truly unique watch you won’t find anywhere else. Another beautiful detail is the indigo DLC coating used on the bezel and case back, which adds a wonderful sense of depth.
