Casio Unveils Its First G

Go Rasta, denim or crystal, and you’ll have the 1980s on your wrist. Or, if you’re more into the 1990s, there’s a rave-inspired model with teal and purple, that decade’s favorite colorway. baby g shock Or a khaki military inspired colorway, or…well, you get the idea. I was wondering if you could recommend one other watch for my son that might be between the size of the dark gray GMA-S110CM-8A and a full size G-shock. A GMA-S110 from the S Series matches those requirements. It is about 30% smaller than a full-size G-Shock GA-110.

The GA-2100 is one of G-Shock’s most successful new series. The design is inspired by the octagonal bezel, case, and band of the original G-Shock, but with a round analog-digital display. Two new models, the GA-2110ET-2A and GA-2110ET-8A Earth Tone Editions were recently released, and are likely to sell out. There are a slew of one-offs in the G-SHOCK digital lineup, all inspired by the classic 6900 model.

If you plan to use the LCD displays regularly you might want to consider something with a positive LCD display , or an all-digital model, but you seem to be set on an analog-digital watch. If you are mostly planning to use the watch just to tell the time, then it might not be an issue for you. Thanks, yeah apparently the stopwatch memory doesn’t display the correct times if the watch is in 12 hour mode, confirmed by three people, one of whom bought two watches with both having the same problem. Using 24 hour mode solves the problem but I realize that might not be acceptable for some people. GWG-1000 is still considered the top Mudmaster, but the GG-B100 has several features that the GWG-1000 doesn’t such as Bluetooth mobile link, step counter, location indicator, and carbon fiber bezel. GG-B100 does not have Tough Solar power or Multi-Band 6 radio wave timekeeping like the GWG-1000.

You can get it in militaristic olive green and dark gray. The only gripe here is that this line has weak low light capabilities, which is a let-down considering their convenient positioning of the LED light button. I have owned 3 Casio watches and all 3 were good time keepers. The downside being the straps are not cheap to replace, a total rip off in fact. I found it cheaper to buy secondhand Casio watches off eBay, while I slowly build up a collection of watches without straps.

I’m not sure people would have expected a $180 watch with my name on it, but I think it’s really playful and inviting. In 1983, Casio launched the shock-resistant G-SHOCK watch. This product shattered the notion that a watch is a fragile piece of jewelry that needs to be handled with care, and was the result of Casio engineers taking on the challenge of creating the world’s toughest watch. Using a triple protection design for the parts, module, and case, the g shock watch offered a radical new type of watch that was unaffected by strong impacts or shaking.
