This shouldn’t be an issue if you keep the watch fully charged. How often you use the sensors and certain features will also affect the battery life. Features that move the hands such as the compass and hand shift feature may also use up more battery than the GW-9400 would. Yes GA1100-9G has the Twin Sensor with compass and thermometer. Personally I would prefer a G-STEEL model as I would want Tough Solar power on an analog G-Shock. I think the GSTS100G-1A and GSTS300G-1A9 might be the same shade of gold.

Hmm, well my wrist is 6.5″ and the original G-STEEL fits okay (I don’t have one but tried it on at the store). I think it will probably fit but what’s most important is if you are comfortable wearing a big watch. I like G-STEEL GSTB100-1A because it has automatic dual time zone functionality and I need to use it in my daily basis, between two countries time zone, my home country and my residence country.

During World War II, the military began to issue standard watches, though it was common for personnel to provide their own. Those early military timepieces were as barebones as they get, with a basic hand-wound, mechanical movement displayed in black and white. As the years progressed and the technology of war advanced, so did the watches. The olive green casual look of this model also fits in well for a tactical watch.

The GA-100-1A1 is a popular choice for police and other uniformed workers. Younger people view the GA-100 series as an iconic G-Shock case and tend to favor the large analog style over the digital models. For gifts or first time G-Shock buyers who mainly need a watch to tell the time, this is one of the safest choices. The tough solar G-Shock model features Multiband 6 automatic radio timekeeping. The black digital display on a light gray square dial is easy to read.

A distinct advantage of this watch is that the digits on the LCD display are very large compared to other G-Shocks. Not to be confused with mechanical watches, analog watches simply have dials and hands rather than numeric displays to provide information. All the movements here are quartz-driven, providing the same reliability and durability found in the other models, while the presentation ups the elegance and refinement. Styled just like the originals, but now with full metal construction, including bracelets on some models.
