I wonder if it’s worth for the price as i need a long life watch. I’m willing to change battery as long as it’s rechargeable as well. In that price range I would recommend the GWM5610 (#1 pick), G Mudman (#10) or analog-digital AWGM100B-1A (#9). The AWGM100B-1A might be more appropriate for you looks-wise but the countdown timer has a limit of 100 minutes . I’ve never had a problem with my G-Shock watches rusting from saltwater, but I was fishing and diving once or twice a week so it wasn’t constant exposure.

The new Frogman is probably worth the price considering its features although for a non-analog G with the only differences being the materials, depth sensor, compass and thermo it is hard to justify. You will often hear conflicting information about pressing the buttons underwater. Personally I think it is okay to do it as long as the seals are in good shape. It’s possible that using the buttons underwater all the time could lead to the seals failing earlier, though it’s uncertain when that would be. If you want to be safe you may want to go with the new Frogman GWF-D1000 or Gulfmaster GWN-Q1000 which both have the compass sensor and now also a depth meter and are designed to be used underwater. I want to buy a G-Shock, leaning towards Rangeman, but my wrist size is small (6.5 inch) and I think this watch will look too big.
